About the Library:
The Red Hook Public Library was founded in 1898. Since 1935, the library has made its home in a building designed by Orson Squire Fowler. Built by Red Hook Tobacco Factory owner Allen Barringer Hendricks, the house is one of the finest examples of octagonal architecture in the Hudson Valley.

Board of Trustees:
Barry Ramage (President), Maryelisa Blundell, Jill Hall, Don O'Shea, Karen Sipperley. The Red Hook Library Board of Trustees meets on the third Thursday of every month.  Meetings are open to the public. Draft meeting dates follow, but are subject to change.  Please contact the library to confirm:
2009: October 15th, November 19th, December 17th
2010: January 21st, February 18th, March 18th, April 15th, May 20th, June 17th, July 15th, August 19th, September 16th, October 21st, November 18th, December 16th
