The Red Hook Public Library was founded in 1898. Since 1935, the library has
made its home in a building designed by Orson Squire Fowler. Built by Red Hook
Tobacco Factory owner Allen Barringer Hendricks, the house is one of the finest
examples of octagonal architecture in the Hudson Valley.

Maryelisa Blundell, Jill Hall, Don O'Shea, Karen Sipperley. The Red Hook Library Board of Trustees meets on the third Thursday of every month. Meetings are open to the public. Draft meeting dates follow, but are subject to change. Please contact the library to confirm:
